Audi 3.0T Gen 1 B8 Crankcase Vent (PCV)

The Oil Separator/Pressure Control Valve acts as a valve to gases accumulated in the crankcase to escape. Otherwise, these gases can cause contamination, leading to air flow problems and housing degradation/cracking, and leaky seals. This assembly include the oil separator to ensure no oil escapes from the crankcase. This assembly sits beneath the supercharger. The PCV is a common failure point on these 3.0T engines, causing coolant leaks and oil consumption. Hengst is the OEM manufacture of the PCV system on the 3.0T supercharged engine.
